Today, 10/18/09 on CNN.com It became obvious that both Walgreens and Amazon.com were offering for sale an "illegal alien" halloween costume. This is not only derogatory, but it is wrong and racist. We the undersigned have discovered that you are offering an "illegal immigrant halloween costume." We are outraged that you would even offer such a distasteful and racist halloween costume for sale on your website or at your stores. The costume clearly dehumanizes the people who are the victims, the economic refugees, who come here to work hard and who seek to find a way to feed and care for their families, while providing their children with the possibility of a better future. By selling this trash on your website and stores, it is as if you condone the view that immigrants are less than human, and that discrimination and racism are acceptable at both Walgreens and Amazon.com. We request that you cease offering the "illegal immigrant halloween costume." Otherwise you can count on a large scale boycott nation wide.
