The most polluting state in the USA is California. Maybe if the buildings could use some more solar energy the USA could have a better Carbon footprint. If we can persuade them to use solar energy Global warming may have a chance.

I would be telling the whole nation to gear up for solar energy. One way to do it is every new building have water tanks buried under it to use as storage of hot and cold water.Hot water stored during day for heating at nite, reverse for day time cooling.Pipes in the floor to circulate.

Be a more responsible state and use more of the great amount of solar energy that California is blessed with.

Even though I am living in OR for a short time I am still a CA resident and as such, I strongly urge you to increase solar energy. Solar energy can help meet CA's huge energy needs while taking advantage of one of its most abundant resources-sunshine. Solar energy can help to pull CA out of recession. In fact, one of the primary reasons for my move to OR was that my partner-an engineer-could not find work in CA, and his focus is alternative energy! Increased solar energy could be a boon for CA and an area where this great state could lead the nation (instead of leading in foreclosures etc).
