have you noticed the services that we use as private citizens are slowly being cut or eliminated? teachers are being laid off, public parks are closing, just to name a few. yet, i hear nothing about any city, state, or federal government maybe laying off some of their own. i don't believe we even need half of those government employees. what is the matter with us as a people? most of us don't have a job, yet someone is being apointed to some rediculous position as we speak. let's all get a grip.

I do not believe the federal government has any business involving itself in anything other than protecting american citizens from the state government. Everything beyound this is illegal and needs to be stoped. This is supposed to be government by the people for the people, not government ruled people for big business profits.

I am in full support, there is far to many things that are genuinely needed right now that are hurting from the government cuts, yet the government lays marble floors in the court houses, but good luck finding a changing table. The secretaries are run dry but the judges are still employed. The police force and fire departments have hiring freezes, it seems to me like Obama is forcing the only jobs left to be run by the government/military. If you are not working for the directly good luck getting a job.

Not only is it an issue of being too big, but we are paying the salaries of all those employed by the government with our taxes. Just figure out how much, what percentage of your income, goes toward local, state and federal taxes in one form or another. Are the schools, roads public areas being improved? NO Government grows and citizens pay in more ways than just money.
