Thousands of healthy animals are abused and killed by the military in trauma and chemical-casualty training exercises every year%u2014even though superior non-animal alternatives are available.

In current training exercises, live pigs are shot, stabbed, and burned; live goats have their legs broken and cut off; and live monkeys are poisoned with harmful chemicals. These barbaric exercises are conducted on many military bases in the U.S. as well as at private contract companies

Please tell President Obama that this is a horrible thing that should be ended at once.

We the undersigned believe that military trauma and chemical-casualty training exercises being performed on live animals are 100% cruel and unnecessary. Please understand that there are superior non-animal alternatives that should be mandatory for all exercises.

In current exercises, live pigs are shot at, stabbed, and burned alive; live goats have their legs broken and cut off; and live monkeys are poisoned with harmful chemicals. This should not be something that America stands for or supports. Please have a heart for these animals and call off these cruel exercises.
