Recently there has been a great deal of heated discussion all over both the internet and the real world regarding the latest changes to the rules for Magic the Gathering trading card game (click this link for further information
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/42a ). Wizards of the Coast has introduced a number of changes, both minor and major, which in some ways rather radically changes the way the game is played.
A number of petitions has surfaced which aim to tell wizards that what they are doing is hurting the game and that they should stop, but this is not one of those petitions.
This petition instead states that these changes are good! They make the game more fun, makes it cooler or makes it more challenging to play well, thus rewarding good players and sound decision making. These new rules are Not the end of Magic the Gathering, but just another step into the future.
To sign this petition you do not need to agree with each and every one of the minor and/or major changes made to the game of Magic during the last 15 years, or even the ones initiated during the last few weeks. This petition is to show that you put faith in Wizards of the Coast and their development team, and that you trust them to do what is best for the game. We believe in you wizards of the coast, and we entrust you with taking care of the legacy of the best card game ever created!
