We Must Stop The Lottery

Target:
Help Stop The Lottery
Sponsored by:
We must stop the lottery, it does more harm than good.  You might have heard about Patty Kennedy who won 200,000 dollars off of a scratch off ticket.  What the news didn't tell you is that she spent 500 dollars a month on playing the lottery. This adds up to 6,000 dollars a year!!  You have a better chance at getting struck by lightening than winning the lottery.  Your chances are 18 million to 1.  Only 30% of the lottery funds goes to the education.  If you wish to give to the schools please give money to them directly. Think about this before you buy your next ticket.

Duh... the lottery is one of those things the government uses to trick people into giving them money, EVEN though we already pay ridiculously high taxes. But if people are dumb enough to fall for it, they can do whatever they want. You'll never get enough intelligent people to sign this for the government to listen.

I love how you give examples. I'm appauled at how little the funds go toward the schools
