Mandatory Coding Class For ALL High school Students

Why should you sign this petition? You should sign this petition because Coding is the future! Technology is advancing and we need more coders in the world. Even if you don't plan on using it in your career you should learn how to code.

In the Lost Interview with Steve Jobs, Apple’s co-founder said, “I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think.”

I like to think of coding as applied math and sciences because it teaches us an iterative approach to solving problems and testing out our ideas. While I don’t consider myself a coder, apart from HTML and Javascript. I don’t code daily. I did find that learning the basics of how to code on CodeAcademy has done wonders for improving my problem solving skills.

Even if you don't like Computer Coding, What about programming? Or even computer networking. Their are multiple career goals from learning the basics of Computer Coding. As of right now, it has never been easier to learn how to code. With education systems like Khan Academy and CodeAcademy.

If you are interested in checking out coding I recommend CodeAcademy and Khan Academy. They are free and are very helpful.

Remember, Computer coding is like a super power! You can do anything!
