Don't Destroy Endangered Elephant Habitat

  • by: Animal Advocates
  • recipient: India Cheif Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik

A vital elephant corridor in Odisha, India, is under threat of iron ore mining by a steel producer.

Karampadar Inter State Elephant Corridor is a vital migratory path between Odisha and Jharkhand - the only known migratory path and lifeline for the last remaining endangered elephants

To cut off this corridor with a mining project will push elephants into conflicts with humans- and lead to their extinction. Protect the remaining elephants and safeguard their future- not the profits of mining corporations.
