Video of Protest

Animal Rights are important in the world where humans are superior to animals.

So, working to improve animal rights is necessary to end animal's suffering and give them a true freedom they deserve. Some people stage a protest to urge the public to support animal rights, but one of the protests made by Direct Action Everywhere crossed the line.

Direct Action Everywhere is a group that works for animal rights, a diverse network of individuals committed to taking nonviolent direct action to end the exploitation and killing of all animals.

However, recently, they did a protest in Outback Jack's, located in NorthBridge in Australia. At first, I was happy that they're working for animal rights just like us, but soon, I realized they did a protest that is totally unacceptable.

They stormed into the restaurant, and shouted 'It's not food, it's a violence!' About 15 protesters stormed in this family restaurant with the graphic pictures of slaughtered animals.

Eventually, the restaurant staff had enough and forced them to leave the area.

In my view, this protest is unacceptable.

According to Ray Strauss, an owner: "We had families in here, we had elderly couples, next thing they are pulling out a megaphone and yelling in everyone's face."

Diners having a peaceful time left shocked.

By causing a commotion in the restaurant, Direct Action Everywhere ruined the time of customers eating there, and possibly terrified them.

It's good to protest for something you want, but you can't force the belief to others. Everyone has a right to do something that they want, and choose what they want to eat.

What Direct Action Everywhere did is a harassment. Their action is a total disgrace for everyone working for animal rights, and this is not ok.

'We are being peaceful,' one of the activists complained. However, storming into one peaceful restaurant and terrifying the whole innocent people is not a 'peaceful' way to protest for animal rights.

According to The West Australian article, Direct Action Everywhere is vowing to carry out more protests. If we don't do anything, they might target other restaurants and put the whole customers in terror.

Direct Action Everywhere must apologize for what they did and must carry out their protest in a more peaceful way. Please Sign now to remind them that their method of protest is getting out of the hand, and urge them to find a better way to protest.
