End Barbaric New Abortion Legislation

Ok guys, so I think you all have heard about the newest law Missouri has passed. And if you don't then I'll tell you. Missouri is the 8th state to pass a law stating that after 8 weeks of someone being pregnant they CAN NOT get an abortion. There now the tea is spilled. Now onto the real reason as to why I have shared this doc with you all.

Missouri has passed this law, so after 8 weeks of pregnancy, we can not get an abortion. Missouri lawmakers have passed a bill criminalizing abortions at about 8 weeks of pregnancy.

Missouri lawmakers passed a bill Friday to ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, the latest in a flurry of anti-abortion measures across the country intended to mount direct challenges to federal protections for the procedure.

The Missouri House passed H.B. 126 in a 110-to-44 vote after hours of heated debate, including impassioned speeches by both Democratic and Republican legislators and angry shouts of "when you lie, people die" from those who opposed the bill. Those protesters were eventually removed by the police.

The measure, known as the Missouri Stands for the Unborn Act, now moves to the desk of Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, who is expected to sign it. The bill, which bans abortions at around eight weeks of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows she is pregnant, included no exceptions for rape or incest.

The passage of the bill was the culmination of long years of effort by the anti-abortion movement in the state, and Republican lawmakers voted for it overwhelmingly. One of them, Representative Holly Rehder, a Republican from southeast Missouri, implied in her speech that rape and incest were not reasons for exceptions. "To stand on this floor and say, 'How could someone look at a child of rape or incest and care for them?'" she said. "I can say how we can do that. We can do that with the love of God."

Samuel Lee, an anti-abortion lobbyist who watched from one of the galleries, said the bill's debate and passage were "pretty solemn."

"People weren't walking in and out of the chamber chattering, as they usually are," he said. "People were in their seats. It was tense and there was some crying on both sides."

I am so not a fan of this law if anything it should not be a thing. How can we let people what to do with our own bodies? These laws were passed by.. You guessed it... ALL MEN. All men, men don't know what we go through, what choices we have to make, and they have enough nerve to tell us that after 8 weeks we can't get an abortion. How is that even logical? Most women don't even know within that 8 week period that they are pregnant. So if we don't know that we are pregnant then how are we supposed to get an abortion? When women get raped, or when incest comes into the picture they don't care. They think that we should have to raise a child with a father we don't even love or care for one bit, they think that we have to raise that kid, and keep that constant reminder of that terrible tragedy that they had to go through. They expect us to sit down, be quiet, don't speak up for ourselves, and raise this kid that we may not want. The suicide rates were finally dropping, but now with this law, the rates will go back up because people will think of us differently just because of something that we couldn't control, that will make people so ashamed that they will end up committing suicide. So tell me, tell me how this law is going to help us. How will kids feel when they are put up for adoption, what will they think? I'll tell you. They will feel unloved, they will think that their parents didn't want them. They won't know that their parents may have been in an environment that is not kid friendly, and they may have been put up for adoption because they know that eventually the kid will be taken away and put up for adoption either way. And how is it fair how we treat fetuses like human beings, but when it comes to immigrants, or you know we just treat them like complete and total animals. And someone can be raped, and are FORCED to have that kid, but the attacker can get PARTIAL CUSTODY! How is that fair? It's not! Some may think that our option to have an abortion is being taken away, yeah it kinda is. After 8 weeks if you get an abortion it's marked illegal, whoever got the abortion will be in a lot of trouble, and the doctor, oh don't even get me started on that, the doctor will go to jail, and their medical license will be taken away for 99 YEARS! How stupid! And don't forget the fact that people aren't going to stop getting abortions, the government is only taking away medically safe and clean abortions from most of the demographic that would get one.
