Make 4th and Vernon a 4-way stop intersection!

There is a MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM at the 4th Street and Vernon Avenue crossroad in Venice, California, stemming from an intersection designated as only a 2-way stop that should in fact be a 4-way.

Cars come flying down 4 th Avenue and blow past Vernon while pedestrians unwittingly venture to cross thinking it’s a 4-way stop. I’ve already seen 7 groups of people (including two young kids on bikes) almost get hit just in the past year.

If the city remains dormant, it’s only a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously injured. The solution is simple: install two more signs on 4th Street transforming a dangerous intersection into a 4-way stop.
