Support Solar in Louisville, Colorado!

City leaders in Louisville, Colorado have figured out how to save the earth--and leave some money in the wallets of local residents. This month the Louisville city council will vote on whether to implement more solar power. They estimate that solar energy could save the city around $280,000.

Not only that, but solar and other renewable energies are a great defense against climate change and the rising sea levels and catastrophic storms that it will bring.

Please join me in asking the Louisville city council to unanimously support the proposal to purchase electricity from a Clean Energy Collective solar array with financing from Alpine Bank. Please act now! Council will vote on this issue mid-August, and they need to hear from you!

Dear Louisville Council Members:

I applaud the forward thinking ideas you have come up with for implementing solar energy in Louisville. As you know, solar energy is not only the responsible and ethical way to keep the lights on, it is also a way to lower your constituents' cost of utilities. There is nothing to lose and much to gain by taking aggressive steps to create solar power infrastructure. Please move ahead with the proposal to purchase electricity from a Clean Energy Collective solar array with financing from Alpine Bank.
