Demand Change so Rental Trucks are safe to drive!

I recently rented a Budget Truck to help my family move long distance. At the location, there were deep gouges in the sidewalls of two tires, but they had no other trucks for me to rent & it was late in the day, They assured me it was safe, but I was so concerned I took pics anyhow. The windshield was filthy as well, but I had time restraints and had to get this truck loaded.

The windshield washer fluid didn't work, so I had to buy windex and paper towels. The following day the alternator died & it took Budget 6.5 hours to remedy the situation. The wheels were so misaligned it made the truck extremely difficult to drive let alone keep straight and the back of the truck leaked soaking many boxes and some furniture during a rain storm en route.

They refused to fully refund me despite knowingly putting my life at risk. I reported them to the BBB and I wrote them up on Ripoff Report. The BBB responded saying that they may be able to take action if they see a pattern developing. If you search Budget on Ripoff report you will see a pattern. So my hope is that other people that have had negative / similar problems with Budget and / or Avis to please sign this petition and let's prevent any future tragedy from occurring by forcing change to the companies policies and stricter guidelines when it comes to mechanically clearing their vehicles as "safe" when many of them clearly are not. They are an incompetent and negligent company that needs outside supervision for the safety of their customers.

Additionally, with enough signatures, I may take this to a class action attorney.
