Matt Milius rescued and fostered Mini Tall, the Doberman, and has given him a safe, secure and loving home. Mini Tall has been shuttled back and forth to several foster homes and is finally safe with Matt. Now the rescue organization wants to take him away from Matt and give him to someone else. Matt provided veterinarian care, shelter, food and love to Mini Tall and submitted the appropriate paperwork to Fureverhomes Doberman Rescue, Inc. However, the organization never followed through with his application. Now, Matt is engaged in a legal battle because they want to take the dog away from him. Over the years, Matt has rescued many needy senior dogs and provided a wonderful home for all of them on his farm and in his home. Please Sign the Petition and Save Mini Tall!
We are asking Furever Homes Doberman Rescue, Inc. to allow Matt Milius to keep Mini Tall, the Doberman Pinscher whom he has lovingly fostered since October, 2015. Matt has not only provided a safe and loving home on his farm and in his home, he has also provided necessary veterinarian care and companionship to this foster dog.
Matt has complied with Furever Homes Rescue's requirements to adopt the dog by being approved as a foster home, filing the necesary application to adopt the dog, and requested a home visit by the organization. There has been numerous email communications between Matt and the organization, but the organization has not followed up with the communications and is now attempting to adopt the dog to another home. Matt has been forced to obtain legal counsel to assist him in keeping Mini Tall.
Matt is the second generation owner of Shenandoah Farm, a working farm, in New Egypt, New Jersey. Over the years, Matt has rescued many senior dogs, giving them final forever homes and caring for them to the very end. He also owns carriage horses who always will have a home on his farm after they are retired. In addition, he maintains a petting zoo of ponies, mini-mules and other creatures to educate children about animals and how to care for them.
