Shut Down Source 4 Teachers - It's a Scam!

Source 4 Teachers (S4T) is a business that "trains" substitute teachers and serves as a contact point for school districts. Being a "middleman", they cost districts more than a sub caller would, and the subs get paid less; but that's not my point. Where they really rip off everyone is in the fine print. S4T requires applicants to take a training course (If one attended college and obtained a teaching certificate, the training course looks pretty superficial - yet S4T requires it anyway). They charge $200 per applicant. S4T also requires the principals of the schools they service to take time to fill out "performance reviews" on each sub. Subs rarely, if ever, have contact with the principals; they're teaching all day. The principals aren't given the option of checking off a "No problems!" box; they HAVE to say something about the sub. So they ask the students, or make stuff up. The result? Reports generally filled with preposterous lies, stuff a child might find amusing. The purpose of this is to create a file of libelous reports that can serve as legal protection when S4T decides to fire a sub to make room for the next applicant - who has to pay $200 to apply for the job.
