Investigate origin of fur products labelled faux fur

There are so many products made of fur of with fur trimmings that are labelled as faux fur being sold in stores, however, the majority of these products have been imported from China or other Asian countries where there is a prolific cat and dog fur industry. These cats and dogs have been kept and killed in horrific ways, many being skinned alive for their fur. There is an unbelievable amount of fur items in stores that have been imported and many labelled inconspicuously or as faux fur. Many of these items are suspiciously like real fur. Trading Standards needs to intervene to test the origin of these items in order to inform the consumer. If these items are proven real animal fur, then imports from China and countries who are mislabelling need to cease with immediate effect. I have contacted Trading Standards previously, only to be told that I needed evidence. There is enough evidence out there. Please sign this petition to help prove that the consumer is buying mislabelled products and being fooled. Please sign this petition to help boycott imports from countries who abuse animals.

Please sign this petition to tell Tesding Standards that we would like all fur items that are imported from China and other Asian countries investigated for their origin. We could be wearing cat or dog fur unwittingly, and do supporting the fur industry. The consumer needs to be made aware and fully informed. Please show compassion for animals who do not have a voice of a choice. It's the least we can do. Are fur items from these countries made of real cat and dog fur? Please support this petition.
