UNITE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE MEADOW PARK HOMEOWNERS ON CAPTAIN NURSE CIRCLE, NOVATO, CA

Captain Nurse Circle, Novato, CA is an affordable housing project that makes it possible for people to buy a lovely, brand new townhome in Marin County. Resale restrictions and HOA dues aside, most of us feel blessed to be able to "own" a home in a county where it might never have been possible. 

Resident Julie "Angel” decided some years ago, to create a website attacking our Neighborhood, the HOA, the landscaping company, her neighbors, the local authorities; spying on people, posting pictures of our homes and vehicles, airing personal private family woes exaggerated and distorted. She stated her information as fact and all gained through her "investigative" prowess but never backed by meaningful facts or solutions.

The blog attacks many, from  the most vulnerable, namely units in our neighborhood that "rent", providing housing and care for foster children and the mentally challenged with their assistants, or students visiting from other countries; name calling neighbors that are in financial distress, behind on bills calling them "deadbeat", to the higher powers that be such as the local district attorney, or the local services providing transportation such as "Whistlestop" and yellow bus services... sending photos to the local Patch to be printed by whatever town has the need to fill a spot, most recent subject matter FedEx parked on our street... violating? What? An individual on his lunch break checking in on his new born twins and a wife in delicate health? So unnecessary and just plain MEAN.

Julie "Angel" to the contrary of your words and writings, you are NOT a champion of truth and neighborly love, nor a "Healer" of Spirit.

Thought, word, action. Change begins with self. TRUE Healers live this, true Healers guide and create change with patience, compassion, communication with respect and with knowledge of personal boundaries (in other words, know when to mind your own business!).

I know that many of us made a conscious decision to ignore Julie "Angel" and her neighborhood bashing blog yet as we have ignored her, she is getting louder and uglier. After recently speaking with several residents, we agreed that it might be best at this point to speak up as her actions have become more unnerving, strange and aggressive... sneaking around our back doors with a camera, aggressively engaging with neighbors as she tapes her message on our mailboxes, she has made inappropriate comments to both adults and children, threatened homes, careers, restraining orders from some homes are in place now, obviously the fear that she could ultimately be of danger to those she obsesses about is real.  

Let this Petition be a place to start sharing our stories, our encounters with this individual, how does it affect you? Does it affect you? Can we through this petition unite against a negative force and start to build a community that actually acknowledges each other, can we start to take the time to attend Board meetings and communicate respectfully? Let’s start with the subject of Julie “Angel”, can she be communicated with, can this be stopped?

In the end if nothing else, this Petition will be record of a bizarre neighborhood situation. By documenting encounters and/or feelings, we can bring some clarity to Julie Angel about the fact that her ongoing negative, obsessive actions have to date only served to create unhealthy stress, gossip, loathing, discomfort, escalating fear in the neighborhood proved by the recent restraining orders issued to protect certain families and their homes from Julie Angel.  It’s time for all neighbors to wake up and look around us, throughout the United States people are exploding, this is a situation that has the potential for over reaction, ending in possible tragedy.
