we the people of north carolina hope to show the attitude of the people toward the legalization of marijuana for all persons of legal age. this is a petition to have marijuana fall under the same guidelines and regulations that tobacco companies have to follow. it is unimportant whether the age for legal consumption is 18 or 21 so long as every citizen has the legal choice to decide what is important in the pursuit of their own happiness. we hope that this petittion be taken seriously as any american would expect when weighing their rights.

I believe that it should be you choice to use a completly theraputic drug, that has less side-affects than your average tylonal. Marijuana has been used for centuries to help ease pain, as well as treat chronic illnesses. The prohibition of alcohol (which has much more potential for deaths) failed and was revised later. Marijuana again should be an individual choice for every American.
