STOP TROPHY HUNTING RETURNING TO BOTSWANA

  • by: DOL Films

This will break your heart: Botswana new government has announced that it will hold a two-month nationwide consultation to review the ban on hunting elephants.

Thousands of elephants fled to sanctuary in 2014 when hunting was banned by then President Khama. It is estimated 60-70% of ALL Africa's elephants live in Botswana. After the ban the elephants started to trust humans, if the hunting ban is lifted it will be a slaughter – not a hunt.

Let the government know you will not be vacationing in a country that promotes the slaughter of refugee elephants. Sign the petition today to stop hunting from resuming in Botswana and help protect elephants.

DOL FILMS, will soon release Elephant Refugees, a documentary featuring the extraordinary efforts of one family to help the elephants who have fled to safety in Botswana. Please help us re-open the capped boreholes. www.facebook.com/elephantrefugees
