Poland, don't ban all abortions!

Poland, a country that is largely Catholic, has long held strict guidelines on abortions. To date, women may only abort if the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest, if the mother's life is in danger or if there are serious fetal handicaps.

This results in an estimated 200 abortions each year.

Currently Fundacja Pro, a Polish pro-life organization, is attempting to pass a citizen's bill where all abortion would be illegal. Doctors performing one could receive up to five years in prison. Both Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and Law and Justice (PiS) party chair Jaroslaw Kaczynski have expressed their support. The PiS party controls Polish government.

Poland, don't leave women without options under extreme situations!
