Kentucky has the weakest animal protection. For many years they have gotten the reward nobody wants. With their weak laws, many criminals can get away with animal abuse. I'm sure if I was an animal, I would not want to live here. We should change that. Kentucky is the state known for horses. Right? But we have very poor laws about animal abuse. This is really wrong. Think about those poor horses, people watch them for the races, they don't think about what they might go through. People need to open up their eyes and realize this is serious. Animals make many people happy. But some peope just cannot find the joy in them. We could all make a difference with this one petition. Animals deserve to be happy, they are like us.
