Turn House of the scorpion into a movie series

I’m starting this because The house of the scorpion is a REALLY good book, I think it would make a great movie just like the hunger games. The house of the scorpion Has two books, the second book is called The Lord of opium, if you have the time to read it I really recommend it and please decide if you want it into a movie as well. Really would like to see this book come to life!
