Stop the inhumane separation of child and parent for those seeking asylum.

Currently the United States border patrol is separating children from their families who are seeking asylum, and or illegally immigrating into the United States. This is due to a law being passed by the Trump Administration called the Zero Tolerance Law. This act of children being separated from their families is not only immoral and inhumane, but is also traumatic for the child which compounds the trauma they have already experienced in their native country; which caused the family to undergo the journey of seeking asylum to the United States in the first place.

I am seeking that an amendment be made to Title 8
Aliens and Nationality regulations sections 1-499 for the department of homeland security and 1000-1399  for Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Justice in addition to updating immigration form I-589 to include that the mothers/guardians be kept with the child of a certain age and that they be attendant to their child's needs. The law should stipulate exceptions based on the child's needs due to age, physical, or mental condition along with children without parents or guardians be required humane medical care and standard dignified living conditions while the processing of asylum is approved or denied. Amendment to Title 8
Aliens and Nationality regulations sections 1-499 for the department of homeland security and 1000-1399  Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Justice in addition to updating immigration form I-589 will include better procedures of how to handle the reunion of father and mother with child and the processing of families returning to their corresponding countries.
