Here is a list of the very basic and minimal expenses for one Citizen of Kentucky to live while making minimum wage.

1. Rent - $125.00/wk.

2. Groceries - $75.00/wk.

3. Utilities (gas, water and electric) - $ 55.00/wk.

4. Insurance (Health, Auto and Home) - $ 120.00/wk.

5. Fuel for vehicle - $35.00/wk.

6. Basic Cable TV - $25.00/wk.

7. Misc. Expenses - Medial expenses ( Doctor visits, Medications, Cell Phone, Entertainment, Church Tithes) - unknown expense

These items total - $435.00/week !

Monthly minimum wage is $1160.00 (before taxes).

The monthly cost of the above living expenses is $1740.00 plus any misc. expenditures. The difference is $580.00 !
