Demand that our Rights be Upheld by the Government!

Alberta's Education Minister David Eggen recently ordered for all the Christian schools under the public school system to remove any mention of God from within the walls, at risk of losing government funding. I am a sixteen year old student attending school in Edmonton, and when I heard about this I immediately recognized this as a violation of my rights. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms clearly states that "Everyone has the freedom of conscience and religion." (Section 2) Christian or no, what happens when he starts to ban other religion associated schools from teaching what they believe? When the government shuts down our churches, parishes, temples and mosques? This is against our rights and freedoms, and I plan to do something about it.
