Hot!! Save the Calif. Brown Bear from Hunters

The California Fish & Game Commission is voting the week of May 2, 2011 on whether to increase the hunting licenses for the iconic brown bear from 1,700 to 2,000 per season.  Please let the Commission know you oppose any increase in permits to hunt bears,

Dear Commissioners,

We the undersigned respectfully request that you DO NOT raise the quota of hunting licenses for the California Brown Bear to from its current level of 1,700.  There has not been sufficient study of existing populations and we don't want the brown bears to go the way of our iconic Grizzlies.
