Lorraine Tipton is a concerned and caring mother who has tried for the past three years to obey a court order even though it meant forcing her daughter to go and stay with her sexually, and otherwise, abusive father. Michaela (now 11 yrs old) says that she is absolutely terrified of going to her father%u2019s, that she is not safe with him, and now insists that she simply can and will not go. Lorraine has spoken with her daughter, but can no longer find it within herself to force her daughter to willingly accept further abuse.
Today, Judge Miron of Marrinette County, Wi, sentenced Lorraine to 30 days in jail. She was taken immediately and will not be let out unless Michaela goes with her father, and Lorraine%u2019s jail sentence will continued to be renewed until Michaela agrees. This is not a position an 11 year old should be put in, nor is jail a place for her mother. Michaela has asked for a chance to speak with the judge and have her own voice heard. The judge has denied her this right. Respected and concerned mental health professionals have met with Michaela and believe she is telling the truth. Child Protective Services interviewed Michaela and substantiated a report against her father for sexual abuse. Why won%u2019t Judge Miron give Michaela the same courtesy and listen to her desperate pleas for help?!
Despite attempts to reach out to government officials, this outrageous injustice has been allowed to be cast down upon Lorraine and Michaela. Lorraine is now on a hunger strike, her family is devastated, and Michaela is torn in pieces. This is no way to look out for the best interests of a child! There are men and women all over the country who have been watching as this horrific case of %u201Ccourt-ordered%u201D abuse has unfolded. We are asking that this case be looked into, that this egregious injustice be dealt with, and that Lorraine, Michaela, and their family be put back together. We are asking that Michaela is given a chance to be heard once and for all. This grave misuse of power cannot be stood for! If Judge Miron is going to continue to put this child in harm%u2019s way and punish her mother for protecting her than he has become part of the problem and should be held responsible for continuing to traumatize this innocent and defenseless child!

this system is with holding evidence and is an out rage , iahve been through the court my self and my son case of abuse was dissmissed 3 times by acs ,court and law guardain this poor girl nneds to get help and out of that home are you people crazy ? to leave her like this her life can be at risk and she is so young a child doesnt lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Each child's human rights to be free from harm overrides a father's rights to his children when he has been proven to have abused his children!
This is not acceptable - why will you not listen to the 11YR OLD CHILD herself - she is now able to disclose the tramour she is experincing and yet you choose not to listen?! and continue to punish her by sending her to the devil itself (her father)?? i for one am very confused by it - you must be corrupt or naive to not want to help???

More and more cases keep emerging where we see so much injustice which seems to be deliberately aimed at destroying the hearts and souls of mothers and their children. It has gone too far, we need a new system designed for suing those who have been making these life-altering and damaging decisions.
The CPS of Wisconsin OFTEN falls short of protecting children in the RIGHT ways and it's about time they DO what they're being PAID to do and be of SERVICE to the TAXPAYERS who are FUNDING it!!!!

Why is it, that our Government is so consumed with protecting other countries, so the victims of terrorism can be safe, when there is a silent war going on here, in the United States. The war is against the protection of abused and neglected children. Abused children are being terrorized by their abusers, and then again by the courts. They are placed in a prison, with their abusers, waiting to be rescued. Where are their troops when they need them? Where is the justice for these children against these criminals? Who is going to stand up, and be the hero for all abused and neglected children? I am a mother myself going through a similar hell. I pray justice is served and your child is not forced to do something she does not wish to do. Whether or not she is being molested, just her not wanting to go speaks volumes.
Im a mother myself and my heart goes out to her.......It doesnt say whether the husband is wealthy or not. Either way i find it disgusting that such people can tolerate this.

i was a victim of the three ring circus that is known in Texas as CPS.my rights violated,caseworkers that lied,made to jump through hoops that where not needed,what is it going to take for a mother to stand up for the rights and safety of her child/children.how many children have to die at the hands of their abusers before this broken system does what it says it is so called doing???????when is it going to be enough blood shed of abused women and children going to be enough ?WHEN.
The judge should be in jail not the mother.
My 13 year old daughter was removed from me. I am an excellent mother, not because I haven't done anything wrong, because I love her with every fiber of my being, and there is nothing I won't do to help her, and all the other innocent victims suffering needlessly because of an "unjust and prejudiced" judicial system... Here is a statement my daughter recorded while at her dad's, she too refused extensively, yet she is forced to be with, and now live with someone that has sexually, physically and verbally abused her... Kenndy's transcribed statement of abuse, she made this recording while at her dad's house - the GAL, asked her, point blank was she abused, she admitted to the GAL in a taped conversation, yet the GAL, another advocate for the father did not bring this up in court, and continued to force her to be with a man, the GAL knew abused her.... Um today is March 12, Um I am depressed and said not very happy today My dad, my father, Mr. Stevens has done some very horrible things to me. He has molested me when I was four and um , he molested me when I was four And um what he did was he said , every night before we went to sleep Before we went to sleep every night we would play this game, And he would act like we were in a grocery store and he would act like uh Alright Kennedy let’s go down this isle, and he would go “choo, choo, choo, choo, chho chho choo And when he would do choo choo…. When he would do that noise he would bounce me up and down and I was in the cart. One night when I was four years old he decided AH, INSTEAD OF BOUNCING ME up and down he decided he was going to do something sick and perverted and he rubbed me up against his pee pee and he did it over and over and over again it was disgusting, he’s a pervert, I don’t understand how somebody could do that to somebody, it’s just disgusting and I … so he rubbed me up and down against his pee pee he did it like four times and then the next day when I got home I told my mom “Mommy, my dad did something to me and I said exactly what I just told you and I said, I know that it didn’t feel right mommy, and I didn’t know what perverted was, I didn’t know what molesting somebody was? I just thought well God told me. This is not , this just feel right it is not the right thing to do…Uh, Gosh it is so disgusting, I told my mom, if I know it’s not right, why doesn’t he know it’s not right. It’s a disgusting thing and so, nobody wants to remember it so my mom tries to forget it. So, uh, then again, the next time when I was 7, it was me, my dad, Mr. Stevens, and Cori we were going to a wave pool and uh I was in my bathing suilt he did it in a part where no one could see him He put his hand, he put his hand, he put his hand under my bathing su9it top and he rubbed my chest, he repeatedly rubbed my chest. I pushed his hand down I jumped away from him, and went to play with Cori, I acted like he never, he didn’t do that, because that I knew was wrong it was just disgusting. I couldn’t I , I, I, shudder at the thought of that, I shudder at the thought of someone doing that to me, how disgusting, and how……. Oh God, it’s so ….ewe….. What’s so disgusting about it is that it wasn’t the last time that he did it/I Again when I was 8 years old, was over my Grandma’s house , I was over his house, and uh it was me, Rebecca and Kelsey my two cousins, , Cori , Grandma and him. And we were all in the living room watching a movie and my Grandma was making dinner. So uh, my Grandma said, OK everybody, dinner’s ready. So, my dad told everyone to exit the room and go wash their hands. So I jumped up, and everybody left the room. He called me back. And so I said Ok. He said come and sit on my lap. So I said OK, So I went and sat on his lap. ah – Oh God, it’s so disgusting, Oh God it’s so … He just put his hand under my shirt and he started to scratch my back and then he started to rub my chest/ He rubbed my back then he went to the front he rubbed my stomach and then he went up and he rubbed my chest, and he did it, he rubbed my chest and he just…. Oh God, that’s disgusting, I hated it, I hate it so much. And uh, I just don’t want to be around him at all. So, right now I am sitting in a park, on a park bench because I don’t want to be near him at all, I don’t want to be in his house so I am sitting so right now I am sitting on a park bench with my dog, we feel fine, so uh , Thank you for listening. Kennedy after the courts had allowed her dad visitation at her school, wrote a note to the teacher, stating : Dear Ms. Griffore, Thank you for telling me that my dad called. I see him every Sunday and Wednesday. The reason I am giving you this note is because my dad is trying to take me away from my mom and he has done sexual abuse to me when I was 4 and 7. So he has gone to people and told them so many lies about my mother. If you don't understand or need more info. ask me to stay after school. signed Kennedy. The teacher gave it to the principal, the principal attacked her, did not know the father personally, yet she defended the father against me, whom she had known for over 5 years. She attacked my daughter unmercifully, sending her into tears, my daughter later ended up in the hospital unable to walk, for two days, temporary parrelysis related to all of this stress, forced to be with her abuser. She has had black outs, crying spells, walking in her sleep, talking in her sleep, temporary blindness, all of this I have recorded either video or audio. Saturday, November 07, 2009 6:31 PM This letter is about how I feel when he comes up to places like school, Church, and Dance Class. He makes me feel nervous or embarrassed when he comes up to those places. 1st when he came up to my school I was nervous, why because I thought he would tell anyone that there’s something wrong with my Mommy. My dad stopped volunteering and doing stuff at my old school and I missed him, but now I don’t even want him on school grounds. Once at one of my Christmas plays he was trying to talk to Whitney and she just ignored him (she had tolled me the next day on the phone. I’m not sure how people at my new school feel about him. One day when I did not go to school he went up there and started harassing my sister (a teacher at my new school) saying were is Kennedy in a big mean voice, my Sister told me this. Then he did the exact same thing to my friends & teacher in my dance class. My friends in dance told me this. And when I had arrived my dad was there and he said he wanted to speak to me in private, and my mom didn’t want him to take me outside alone so she followed us and he did take me out side and sense mommy was behind us, in a sneaky way when he had opened the door he had pushed it on my mommy’s arm and then kicked her. He thought I didn’t see it, but for a quick second I had saw it.. Then when dance class was over, and my dad picked me up he stopped the car and told me that I never did that stuff to you, he never did that stuff to me, that sexual abuse stuff, rubbing my chest and that sexual abuse stuff,, I flelt like jumping out of the car, but I knew my mommy had already left, so I couldn’t run to her. I was afraid, I was very stressed and I cried. I told him that I didn’t want to talk about it, He said that I never want to hear what he has to say. I didn’t want to talk about it because I knew he was telling a lie. And it was to stressful to listen to him lie about it. He didn’t care that I was stressed about it or crying., that is not a good parent. He talked for about 15mins. And then we took off. then he told me he didn’t do it. I was so stressed I wanted to get I wanted to jump out of the car about 5 times. I started to jump out at the red light. I didn’t want to be in the car with him. He made me look at him, I didn’t want to, because it was just lies, and lies and more lies, he wouldn’t stop lying. This is a letter about how my daddy makes me feel when he goes around my school and my church. Dance class. I always feel uncomfortable when he goes to my school, I don’t like him going there. I don’t want him to tel my teachers lies and talk to my teachers. Tell them that my mommy isn’t helping me and that she doesn’t help me with school work, He went up to my new school, where there are no problems, he went up their and he said, he went up there and asked my sister, whern will Kendy be back, and why isn’t she here, and what hsppeend how it dihd it happen, and stuff like that in a very mean yelling voice. At dance what happened: My dad had came up to my dance he harrased my dteacher whayt time does it end, what time does it start, why isn’t kennedy here, she better come, he scared my dance teacher, and the other women that were in the room. It makes me feel, mad , stressed and annoyed. I, her sisters, brother, nephew and grandmother love her endlessly. We are having an extremely hard time without her. We are not allowed to see her, talk to her, or visit her. Her father, who is and was abusive has "sole" custody. They are using her like a blugeon against me, a weapon to destroy me. God will prevail. If I try to talk to her, I can be arrested on the spot. If I attempt to make contact with my precious baby, I too will be in jail. I have been totally dedicated to her all her life, and this is what the American Judicial system does....
it sickens me that people take on roles which require them to help protect and do right by our children then ignore that responsibility. or worse...flat out spit in the face of such responsibility and in doing so leave women and children unprotected, in the hands of abusers. it's time we got angry and hold officials, law enforcement, and abusers accountable. thank god for a mother's protective instinct...without that who knows how many more children would be harmed without anyone ever knowing. let true and righteous justice be served!

I agree I had a similar custody case thankfully in my case things are working ok and my son is quite happy to see his father now although it killed me to send him to begin with unfortunatly in some cases it doesnt work
I know what she is going through! The Courts are abusive and wrong one too many times. let the girl be with her MOther!!! why cant the Court force the drug tests!!? There needs to be a new law for substance/alcohol abusers automatically having to have supervised visits only! Its horrifying whats going on! The System is liek a bulldozer!..
Stop the abuse with that mother and beleive what the daughter says! A kid will never lie about something like that, I talk by own experience!
This disgusts me that a mother is imprisoned for protecting her child. If there is evidence the legal system should be protecting the children not the prepetrator. Give children a voice let them be heard
