We the undersigned urge you as a leading manufacture of soft drinks to:
Improve the nutrient content in all your soft drinks by:
Only using citric acid instead of phosphoric acid. Only using date sugar instead of refined sugar. Only using erythritol as an artificial sweetener. Only using natural caramel colour. Adding 5% of the RDA of those vitamins & minerals per 100 ml of product (Vitamin A, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Iron, Iodine, Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, and Selenium)
Improve workers rights by:
Insuring that all workers in factories either owned by you or are your suppliers* world wide have a right to belong to a trade union, paid breaks, paid holidays, safe working conditions (as would workers in the UK or USA,)
To use fair trade produce in your products wherever possible. e.g. Fair trade sugar & fruit, and fruit oils.
Improve the environment by:
That all your factories & those of your suppliers* work to the highest environment standards & do not adversely affect local communities. e.g. by diverting water away from wells, or polluting water supplies. To ensure all your products are recyclable, & that they are made in whole or in part from recycled materials. By planting 1 tree per 10 L of drink sold through either The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation http://www.ftpf.org or Trees For the Future http://www.treesftf.org
That the energy to power your factories & those of your suppliers* comes from renewable sources, e.g. Solar power, Wind turbines, or nuclear power stations.
