The Flash has continuously made an impact in American culture since his first appearance in 1940. Without a doubt, millions of people worldwide feel a connection to the character.
On October 7th, 2014, The Flash finally made his way to the small screen, portrayed by actor Grant Gustin. Countless fans applauded the casting choice, claiming that a better decision could not have been made.
The same month, on October 15th, it was announced that actor Ezra Miller would take on the role of Flash in upcoming "Justice League" films, as well as a "Flash" solo film. This left many fans devastated because they believed Grant Gustin would be the only appropriate choice for the role of Flash. After all, the television series would have been a perfect opportunity to set up the character's background and eventually make the transition from TV to film.
Which brings us to this petition. Comic book fans worldwide must unite in the signing of this document in order for DC to realize that they are making a mistake. We are not bashing Ezra Miller; he is a splendid actor. However, the role of Flash is already taken by the great Grant Gustin.
