Save Indian Boundary Park Zoo

By signing this, you will demonstrate your interest in the improvement of the ZOO located in Indian Boundary Park.  This is a unique feature of the neighborhood and must be repaired and maintained to benefit all who use the park.

In the 1980s, Chicago Park District  acheived an unprecedented renovation bringing the original 1922 zoo up to the highest possible standards.  Thanks to the support from Lincoln Park Zoo, many people enjoyed a wide variety of animals for a number of years.  Unfortunately, in the 1990s, the zoo began a slow but steady decline which continued until Lincoln Park Zoo finally removed the last of their animals in September of 2013.

There are many wonderful possibilities for improving this area. The future of Indian Boundary Park begins here

Dear Neighbor,

Won't you please sign our petition to simprove Indian Boundary Park?  We have worked very hard, as unpaid volunteers to bring the park into new and glorious beauty.  The burning down and closure of the Field House on May 20, 2012 has had detrimental repercussions on the state of the park.

It is up to us to show the Chicago Park District how much we care about our park and all the resources inside.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and don't forget to visit our website: IndianBoundaryParkAdvisoryCouncil.org The future of Indian Boundary Park begins here

Sincerely,

Jennifer Albom
