All to often we see families being separated and torn apart by addiction. Our society teaches us that it is acceptable to place children in foster homes or with foster parents and to treat mothers and fathers with individual therapy programs. We often hear in the news today that are children are being physically, mentally emotionally abused and even murdered by the states " adequate " caregivers . I propose a new horizon of therapy . It is time to introduced a new way of recovery .. The House of Faith Family Healing Center will help lower the need for foster homes for children of addicted parents .. Keeping the family together teach them what God intended us to teach our children from the beginning family that prays together stays together . Upon keeping the family together . We will teach them to communicate , an express their emotions and feelings support each other in times of need . We need to install unified spritual foundation in are homes . We have seen an alarming rate of single mothers and fathers or children without parents at all . Statistics prove that foster homes are overcrowded and underfunded . Being a recovering addict myself and mother of three I know the hardships and pain of recovery .. The emotional rollercoaster of ups and down that come from constant state of worry for the children . It is very hard to focus on your recovery when you are in a constant state a worry about the emotional physical and mental needs of children and their safety and all around basic needs it is nearly impossible not to relapses . As well as the emotional strain and the toll that it takes on the children from being separated from their family , My  own children expressed the feeling of abandonment , the feeling of total and absolute isolation or unwanted and unloved  no child should ever have to feel this way . It has been prove you  can teach a mother to heal herself and you can teach your father to himself , you can even  teach the kids to overlook and accept their parents and there addiction but you are only prolonging the inevitable. You have now opened doorways for  parents to relapse and or cleared a  new path to addiction for the children. All to often we hear of Parents growing apart during the recovery process and they eventually divorce this leaving the children in broken home . This increase the divorce rate in already high society. House of Faith Family Healing Center will work with each member of the family individually and as an  Unit , offering a verity of therapy ; marriage counseling, family therapy, play therapy, one-on-one therapy mother and children therapy ; father and  children therapy and child therapy. The programs will provide housing for the family and a safe environment for children to grow and play where they can feel free to express their emotions feelings and pursue their dreams and desires .. Families will pray together so they stay together and play together and succeed together. Another common probably we see with families is one of the major causes for divorces and relapsing financial burdens . We will help bulid a financial foundation for the home . I would like to have an on site restaurant called Amanda's kitchen .. through the restaurant families will work to bulid a financially stable foundation to help them provide for the future when exitings the program lowering the risk of relapsing and divorce..
