Give Dementia a Voice

  • by: Clair Bennett

Please sign this petition and give our most vulnerable people with Dementia a voice. They deserve the same safety, security and care as a toddler in a nursery. They currently have no say about the decisions that effect their life. They have no say about the closure of the place they call home. They have no say as to who cares for them. Who are the staff ? Are they qualified, experienced and respectful? They have no say about any aspect of their everyday life and it's time to change this! Please sign this petition and give people with dementia a voice that must be respected and their choices taken seriously.

We want to raise the standard of care environments and the most importantly the quality of the care staff that are employed to care for Dementia Sufferers.

Currently this country allow unqualified and inexperienced staff with little or no training  to begin the care of people with an extremely individual and complex illness.

They are as vulnerable as children and we want to see the same standard of safeguarding applied to all vulnerable Dementia sufferers.
