I hope that President Obama will put more focus on wildlife and environment conservation, which includes the issue of whaling. Illegal whaling is such a big problem, and I do not think that ample action is taking hold. Many Japanese fleets are illegally making more ways to support their illegal whaling, and they are taking aggressive action against anti-whaling groups. The U.S. government should raise more awareness on this tremendous issue.

Whales are beautiful, intelligent animals. The Japanese just do not have any concern for wildlife conservation; poaching in protected marine natural areas is such a horrific problem. The inhumane slaughter is totally intolerable; it is just an ignominy. Fishing industries fear that whales will endanger their businesses, even though they are oblivious to the fact that is the industries themsevles that are responsible for non-sustainable fishing. The Japanese are taking more aggressive measures to continue whaling and to keep anti-whaling groups out of the way. The inhumane hunting and slaughter has to stop now.
