Please sign and share this petition to help show Whistler Blackcomb that we need and want a maintained 22ft halfpipe for training and learning during this Olympic Qualifying year.
Whistler Blackcomb believes there is no interest in their 22ft super pipe for the spring season and have decided to not maintain this feature.
They do not realize their pipe would be 1 of 2 halfpipes open for the end of April and into May in North America.
It would be the only one that would be open to the public and affordable to ride (WB Spring passes are $299 vs Mammoth pass $689 with only an 18ft pipe open to the public).
Help is needed to express the importance of re-building and maintaining this feature for the availability of spring training for all athletes who are qualifying for the games or anyone who is interested in learning about the halfpipe in a low consequence environment. This pipe provides quality and affordable training for all. If they build a pipe many will go!

Dear Freestyle rider/skier/supporter,
We would like to encourage Whistler Blackcomb to re-build and maintain their 22ft Halfpipe for the 2013 spring season.
We need these training grounds because it will provide affordable training for those qualifying for the 2014 Sochi Winter Games. Also because it would be the only 22ft halfpipe in all of North America that would be open to the public and any teams who would want to train there.
Lastly, spring pipe is the best pipe to learn in whether it is an introduction to the pipe or learning a new trick for contest. Spring provides a lower consequence environment for the participant. We need this environment.
Please help us show Whistler Blackcomb that there is an interest in this feature and that it is much needed for all athletes who love to snowboard and ski.
