Demand British Tabloids Apologize for Publishing Nude Photos of 'Doctor Who' Actress!

  • recipient: The Sun, Mail Online, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Daily Star
BBC recently announced that it was casting Jodie Whittaker the role of “The Doctor” in its popular show “Doctor Who.” This will be the first time a woman has played the role in the character’s 54-year history of onscreen and offscreen appearances

Many have responded negatively to the decision to cast a female for the part, but the most negative response of all came from several British tabloids. The Sun, Mail Online, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Daily Star all published nude photos of Whittaker from previous movies. Demand they apologize now.

Yes, Whittaker did choose to do nude scenes in her previous work, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, publishing those photos as a response to the sexist controversy surrounding Whittaker’s casting is offensive, demeaning and irresponsible.

Please sign this petition demanding that The Sun, Mail Online, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Daily Star all apologize for their crass decision to publish nude photos of Jodie Whittaker!
