Demand Na'i Aupuni to be shut down Now!

Na'i Aupuni has been a fradulent, flawed, unconstitutional, undemocratic, and untransparent, process - from the very start. Thousands of Kanaka Maoli and Non Kanaka Maoli, stand in protest of this process, and are fustrated to say the least, with Na'i Aupuni's political shenanigans of having unelected officials plan Hawaii's future.

There is no clear answer on how America even aquired valid treaty of annexation for the Hawaiian Kingdom to begin with, as a joint resolution lacks the power and jurisdiction to aquire other countries. People of Hawaii deserve and demand answers. We make this petition to demonstrate crystal clear to you and the DOI, that we demand an audience with John Kerry, and not just the Department of Interior.

We desire independence as an option from the United States, for without this choice any real vote on the matter would be against the requirements from the suffarage making decisions for their future clearly outlined by the UN charter. Either you give us a true path towards independence and the free will of our people or you stand against it. There simply are no two ways about it.

In Kanaka Maoli traditions passed down for 1000 of years, they believed democracy is more than a ballot with the correct options presented. That is just the tip of the political ice berg to rule Hawaii in righteousness. These traditions of governance are older than the United States itself, and were reiterated by Queen Lili‘uokalani at a time of mass petition for a new constitution demanded in 1892, which included 2/3s of registered voters people from around our islands signed, she stated, "The voice of the people, is the voice of God"; however, the voice of the people has systematically been silenced, and we sign this petition in protest of Na'i Aupuni and in protest of Federal interference in our process towards independence.

What independence means is the ability to choose for oneself. We demand a process without politically premeditated prescriptions of Federal Recognition. A future derived from unelected officials that haven't even seen the minimum due diligence of simple background checks, is not only unconstitutional, it is machiavellian.

We protest Na'i Aupuni because it simply does not represent the will of the suffrage of all those effected by the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom. This petition is very important because it will give a true statistical sample of the true political will of the people throughout the Hawaiian Islands regarding Na'i Aupuni.
