I love animals and belief that like Greyhounds these canines deserve to live happy full lives. They have served to protect our loved ones who were in the conflicts, think of their love for what the canines have done, can we do less to save brave animals. This is the article that motivated this petition below for a Care2Care email. Always Be True!

Retired Military Dogs Will Return Home to U.S. for Adoption!

One military working dog is estimated to save up to 200 service men and women during their career. In return for their heroic work, they deserve to be well cared for after they retire – but the U.S. government was instead abandoning these dogs overseas. After a passionate campaign, including a Care2 petition that gathered over 247,000 signatures, President Obama signed into law a defense bill that will require the government to bring retired military working dogs home to the U.S.
