This petition is to acknowledge and accept the wrong doings involving a University of Louisville Basketball Program. In signing this petition we hope that the NCAA can hand down different severe punishments and financial penalties to the University of Louisville and not to the players on this years basketball team whom had no involvement what so ever in the original scandal involving a former assistant coach and potential recruits several years ago.
As a die hard Cardinal fan I can accept the punishments that the NCAA hands down to the School but I don't think that any of these current players whom are outstanding student athletes should have to suffer (during this years season), Let them Play!!! Not 1 player on the current Roster were a part of the Team when the Scandal occurred. I say let these fine outstanding young men finish out this season and have the opportunity to participate in the big Dance with the honor and dignity they deserve and have earned.Again I agree that penalties should be forth coming to this University and if the players so choose to transfer out next year they can do so but this year belongs to them.This Should be their "One Shining Moment" that many of them will never experience ever again!
