Save Moura Hospital

A rural town in QLD is at severe risk of having their hospital shut down. The closest hospitals will then be 67km either direction. Within 15km of this town, there is a mine, a nitrate plant, two schools, multiple farms and a lot of young and old families.

Looking for support from all people, the situation is dire, and we don't believe that the government should have a say in this matter. Our hospital won't be the first or the last to shut down, but it's the one that means the most to us.

A 67km drive could be the difference between life and death, and that's a risk no one is willing to take!

Dear Campbell Newman,

It greatly saddens myself, and many others, that under your leadership, our government (namely you) has decided that Moura hospital is no longer viable, nor rightly necessary.

CQHHB has acted disgustingly in the whole matter, and better communication with the community would have been more appreciated.

From a personal standpoint, this action is endangering many lives, now and in the future. The hospital has been an amazing help to myself in the past, and many, many others.

It is a hard thing this say, but if a death comes of this, the blood is on your hands.
