Urge the UN To Stop The Illegal Wildlife Trade!

NOTE: Please sign ASAP and remember to share! The sooner the better - we cannot wait any longer because animals are being killed for their body parts every SECOND. Please tell everyone you know about this petition!

The illegal wildlife trade kills millions of animals each year, just to make unnecessary medicine and  to sell their body parts. This has caused the black rhino, and many other species, to become endangered.

Since 1970,  the Black Rhino population, native to southern and east Africa, has declined by 90% to less than 3000. They are killed mainly for their horns. Even though trading of rhino parts in the illegal wildlife trade has been banned for more than 20 years, their is still high demand for the species. They are the most endangered animal in the world.

The Giant Panda is the second most endangered animal in the world. There are less than 1000 remaining in their native havitat of China, and it is estimated that without any help, they could be extinct in just a few short years. Their decline is due mostly to poaching and the illegal wildllife trade.

The third most endangered animals are Tigers. These beautiful, majestic, striped animals are native to tropical zones in Southeast Asia and temperate regions like the Russian Far East. Less than 6000 remain in the wild, and their numbers are decreasing due to poaching for bones and body parts used in traditional Asian medicines and the illegal wildlife trade.

Please, help these animals, and many more. Help stop the illegal wildlife trade and unneccesary killing of these beautiful animals that definitely deserve a chance to live. Thank you!
