Are you trying to find a pledge to go open-source all the way?
You're at the right petition to make a pledge!
Why go open-source all the way?
Going open-source is the enormous power to leave proprietary out of our world.
When something is proprietary; it's subject to break.
Almost all of us grew up reserving all rights to our creation, such as films, TV shows, movies, etc. Now these days; people are choosing creative commons licenses, an open-source example of licensing your work. GPL licenses are used for open-source software, such as Ubuntu. You can also make any of your new, or existing creation open-source, whenever you are manufacturing a computer, writing a screen-play, writing a book, making a movie, cooking foods at home, or cafe, manufacturing items; making art, developing software, building websites, hosting a carnival with open-source music created from scratch, running a resort, running a theme park, adapting homes, building things, broadcasting your own content, cartoon characters, pictures/drawings, and anything!
Going open-source can enable you to leave patent, trade-secret,trademark, conventional copyright (All Rights Reserved), and other conventional proprietary components off of our creation, and other stuff,--for good.
Changing our world to go open-source doesn't just make it a better place, that can also reduce climate change. Reducing a mound of abandonware, and electronic waste is the another way to help our creative world live long with lots of open-source communities.
Since proprietary content that is protected with conventional copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and patent are the top polluters on the face of the planet.
Boycotting corporate content providers, such as Adobe is also the enormous power to go open-source.
The more of us go open-source, the better our planet.
Feel free to share the pledge on Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Google+, YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, and other social networks,--so everybody can make a pledge.
