I would like your participation in signing my petition to back up my complaint regarding the noise nuisance and disturbance made by the Living Faith Church. According to the Environment Conservation Act noise should not:
1. Disturb or impair the convenience or peace of any person
2. Hinder speech communication
3. Impede the thinking process
4. Interfere with concentration
5. Obstruct activities (work or leisure)
It is impossible for my son to study, watch television or fall asleep while the church is making a noise.
It is not the fact that the church is there that bothers me, it is the continuous noise of praise and worship during week and Sunday nights up until 10pm and later. It is also not singing but screaming and shouting and it disturbs normal conversation and communication.
It is a disturbance of peace and relaxation and therefore makes it impossible to go to bed before church is out.
I suggest the building is made soundproof as this cannot be legal.
