Please help me by signing my petition to fight for Visitation for my grandson, Rylan. He is 6 months old and we have not been able to meet each other. I have found out today that he has a medical condition. He has 3 holes in his little heart. And hearing of that has just broken mine more that it has been broken not being aloud to see him.

Why must the children suffer from poor decisions from their parents?

Grandparents should have the right to be a grandparent in the State of Florida!

We, the Undersigned, endorse the following petition:

We would like to see a change in the State of Florida for Grandparents Rights and Visitation. Grandparents with good and moral intentions are being denied daily from seeing their grandchildren.

There are hundreds upon thousands of underage minors becoming parents daily. And when the "minor" parents of the newborn child make choices for the newborn, its not always the correct choice.

For instance, young relationships rarely ever blossom for the sake of the newborn. With that being said, There are always grudges and defeatfullness among the young parents so they make wrong decisions for everyone including the grandparents and the newborn child.

Grandparents should have the rights to have court ordered visitation  with their grandchildren when court is their only option after other options have failed with the childs parent(s).

There are thousands of grandparents and grandchildren that will never be a family due to poor choices from minor parents of the child.

Please, please do this for the children and grandparents will nothing but good and loving intentions for the grandchildren.

I have yet to see my grandson and he is 6 months old. I only have a picture of him because the friend of the mother of the child had taken the photo on her phone and sent it to me. This is all i have of him.

I have learned today from an anonymous person through a website that I am a member of. That my grandson has a medical condition. He has 3 holes in his heart.  I know of no more info and need to know more. But i have no rights and the mother refuses to talk or see me.

Please help us!

And thank you for your time.

I am still raising my grandchildren after 15 years. I have 5 blessings and look forward to seeing them grow up and making their on lives, I pray that they will become good, responsible adults who will enjoy their lives and their own families to the fullest.

I raised my grand daughter for 5 years. My son and his girlfriend split up and she won't even let me or any of my family members see my grandchildren. She won't even let my son see his 2 daughters. They need our love as much as we need them in our lives.

I am a grandmother. Grandparents have a bond to their grandchildren that defies explanation. They are a part of us and of our heart and when we are denied the normal relationship of grandparent/grandchild, something very important is lost.

I think it is important for grandparents to have rights to the grandchildren they love and the kids deserve to have part in the family also, it is very important on both ends and because a relationship went bad does not mean the child should suffer.
