Save the Dolphins of Taiji Japan from Slaughter!
Thousands of Dolphins are being slaughtered in the secret cove of Taiji, Japan from Spetember through March yearly. These dolphins are horrifically stressed and trapped into this cove through out the night and then in the early morning hours dolphin traders select their pics and flewn through out the world for Marine amusement parks and Swim with Dolphin shows and the rest are slaughtered while you sleep comfortably in your bed. This has got to STOP TODAY! Dolphins are one of the only creatures that have been known to save human lifes--why not save theirs???? I urge you to do something about it today. Write to the President to get him involved. Write to the Mayor and administration of Japan to bring awareness of the gruesome problem. Write to the mayor of Taiji, Kazutaka Sangen, sign your name to this petition. Please do something.

Dear Decision Makers,
We the undersigned, recently heard about the documentary film The Cove and was alarmed to find out that more than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises are brutally killed each year off the coast of Japan. In addition, Japanese consumers are being sold dolphin meat, containing dangerously high levels of mercury, often labeled as whale meat.
I ask that you urge the Japanese government to revoke permits that allow Japan's Fisheries Agency to continue this heinous, dangerous and illegal practice.
I also urge American leadership to ensure that the International Whaling Commission includes the proper management of dolphins and porpoises and a comprehensive plan to stop the slaughter of dolphins in Japan.
These dolphins are horrifically trapped and stressed over night then slaughtered in the early morning hours while you sleep comfortably in your bed. If this were not a crime, this cave would not be considered so secretive as they portray to keep others out from finding out the horrors of what truely happens. Can you honestly keep this from happening another day???
This is an outrage and inhumane.
Your immediate action is needed.
