We, the residents of Callingwood and parents of Ormsby Elementary school and Daycare children, are against the TELUS Cell Phone Tower for the reasons below and require immediate removing it from your facility.

1) It's adjacent to the Elementary school and Daycare, which in on the school premises. There is only fence, which separates the School building from the Cell Phone Tower. Children of age from 5 to 11 are in this school.

2) The Cell Phone Tower is very near to public playground for the entire community bringing together many kids from around the area. These kids' age ranges from 6 months to 15-16 y.o. teenagers.

3) It is quite near to the Ice hockey ring for kids.

4) It is in highly populated area, which means that the residential houses are within 150-300 feet or 50-100 meters from that tower.

5) It is also very close to the football field, where kids come to play this game, or the school hosts the kids football tournaments right within 328 feet or 100 meters off that Cell Phone Tower.

6) There is one more school playground right across the school, which is 200 meters or 655 feet away from that Cell Phone Tower.

7) It is very close to the Willowby Community Hall.

Every single study into general health around a cell phone tower carried out anywhere in the world (about eight studies so far have been done) has found a consistent pattern of health problems. "They include: severe headaches; chronic fatigue; sleep disorders; gastric upsets and nausea; circulation problems (high blood pressure); heart rhythm problems and palpitations; rashes and prickling skin or sensations of heating; mood swings and depression; memory and attention problems; lowered immunity and lingering infections; joint pains and aching gums; tinnitus (ringing in the ear); visual problems; dizziness and disorientation; other complaints, including neurological disorders (e.g. epilepsy), and CANCER including BRAIN TUMOR AND LEUKEMIA. It especially increases in children since their scull barrier is much thinner then adult's one.

Sweden studies found that the blood-brain barrier - which prevents toxins from entering the brain - is damaged after only two hours of exposure at levels which correspond to that found from cell phone towers. "This allows toxins into the brain, and caused permanent brain damage in rats, whose blood-brain barrier is similar to that of humans".

The question is:

Our children will not forgive us should they have brain tumor or leukemia because we as their parents have to protect them -  to protect our future generation for Canada.
