Fire Police Officer that Killed 17-year-old Laquan McDonald

The man who shot Laquan McDonald 16 times has been rehired by the Chicago Police as a “Jack of all Trades” for the Fraternal Order of the Police.  Protestors rallied Thursday outside of Police headquarters when the news broke lose that Jason Van Dyke was rehired.

Reverend Michael Pfleger openly spoke out against the Chicago Police’s decision on Facebook saying “The F.O.P. has just Hired VAN DYKE, yes the cop who murdered Laquan McDonald… The Police Union says to Chicago… we don’t give a damn what he did, what you think, he is one of ours and we are going to take care of him”.

A Chicago Police officer that murdered a 17-year-old is being hired by the police.

While the police and community have both been working hard to heal their relationship, this is a giant step backwards. 

Please sign and ask the Chicago Police to fire Jason Van Dyke and bring justice to our community.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson has filed the paperwork to get Office Van Dyke and the four cops who helped him cover the facts up. Now we just need to convince the Chicago Police Board to go through with it!
