Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (LARC) will be forced to CLOSE without your support. LARC is in the final stages of our public comment period for our permit and your VOICE could make all the difference in the world.

Please send a LETTER with the subject line reading: "If Not Here Where LARC CUP." Letter address is:

Josias Gonzalez
County of Ventura
Resource Management, Planning Division
800 S. Victoria Ave.
Ventura, CA 93009

Then mention one of the following important reasons for LARC's approval.
1. Wolves need a sanctuary when wounded from hunters or trapped because they wander to close to livestock.  So they need a sanctuary like LARC.

2.LARC has been inspected by the USDA and Fish and Wildlife and exceeds ALL standards for housing wolves and wolfdogs with very large 1-3 acre habitats.

3. LARC assists government agencies by rescuing and providing lifetime care for wolves and wolf-dogs at a time when government funding for these agencies is dwindling.

4.LARC also employes Veterans returning from WAR and helps with job training and peer to peer PTSD support and without your comment this program will be lost.

5.LARC would like you to try to stay positive in your comments because negative comments although valid are often dismissed and we need YOUR comments to count.
