Children of Slums around colonies of Ghaziabad need Education as their right

  • by: Rajendra Yadav
  • recipient: District Magistrate Ghaziabad, Basic Education Officer (BSA)

People coming to NCR for want of Employment, are deprived of basic needs. They live in Slums with their families as they don't have any other option. No officer thinks for their welfare, their children are deprived of education, Nobody from any government school ever contacted them to tell them that they can have free education, mid day meal, dress, and books all free. If you ask DM of Ghaziabad and BSA of Ghaziabad, there is a chance of improving the situation, otherwise, these children are more likely to become criminals, they may be involved in drug rackets/sex rackets and other illegal activities that may affect your peace.

Sir, Slums are growing in and around NCR. In Ghaziabad, you can see thousands of people living in slums (of Vasundhara, Vaishali, Indirapuram and so on..) in bad conditions. Their children are prone to unhealthy conditions and they wander here and there to pick water, polythene bags etc and not going to any school, not even they know that there is any govenment school nearby who can give them food, meal and books all free. They are likely to be in the trap of drug dealers, sex rackets and other organised criminals, if they are not brought to schools. Also they are likely to be used in houses and factories as child labors. Human trafficking may be not far behind, if they are not taken care of. We request you, as an sincere officer of the area to save these children. You have the authority and resources to save them. Thanks.
