my dog was shot on 8-02-2010 in Llano tx while visiting my daughter and grandchildren. i live in san antonio,tx my little dog wandered out the gate that was left open into the neighbors yard and in just minutes this man shot her and she later died. he admitted shooting her to me and the police and was not arrested until two newspapers printed the story 08-18-2010 he is an ex deputy in Llano,tx. i need help in getting justice for my little dog her name was munchee was pekiningese mix and weighed 18 lbs she was 21/2 years old he shot her point blank with a 45 revolver . the story is in the Llano co. journal and the Llano news you can also call the Lano police dept. in Llano tx or email me please sign my petition. on 10/04/2010 the ex deputy melvin lawson was indicted by the grand jury in Llano tx for intentionally,knowingly,recklessly,killing a dog without the consent of the owner.court is set for arraignment 11-22-2010. lawson signed a waiver and was not present in court on 11-22-10 he did not enter a plea according to the district clerk office a status hearing is set for jan13,2011at the 424 th judicial court in Llano tx. thank you for taking time to sign this petition without you and God this situation would never had this impact on the case justice for munchee.
