Medical Petition for Release Of Maurice Nicholson

My son is a non violent offender with 8 months left on this sentence. Friday he was informed his kidneys are functioning at 25% capacity. My son is 24 years old. I am a critical care nurse. His sister lost her kidneys t s 16 years old subsequently received 2 kidney transplants. The etiology for the kidney failure is unknown. I would like him released to begin immediate aggressive medical treat by the same medical team that work with my daughter at Henrico Hospital in Richmond Virginia. My son would reside in the state of Virginia at my residence. I have experience at doing in home dialysis as well from working with his sister. As you could imagine currently I feel totally helpless and need to support my support my son. My medical back ground is driving the urgency to get things looked at in a rapid fashion to possibly salvage his current kidneys. I understand the request on one inmates mother does not negate urgency when there are so many other inmates requiring medical treatment . However not responding quickly can be the culprit to whether or not he is placed on dialysis and require a kidney transplant vs dialysis to filter the kidney and decrease damage to them and try to repair or reverse the issue.
